Everyone in attendance must have a ticket, regardless of age. There are no exceptions. Please contact our Box Office at 610-432-6715 with any questions about the age appropriateness of any particular event.
AGE APPROPRIATNESS FOR CLASSICAL CONCERTS
Our recommended minimum age to attend ASO Classical or Pops concerts is five years. Please note that every person attending the concert, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the concert hall. To foster the best experience for all patrons, a quiet, focused environment respectful of others needs to be maintained. Performance length varies, but a typical orchestra concert runs a little over two hours with one intermission. Some individual pieces may last an hour or more. Children should be accustomed to sitting quietly and attentively for this amount of time. The ASO reserves the right to remove any individuals who are disrupting fellow patrons or the concert setting.
ASO Classical & Pops Concerts: While attending an ASO Classical or Pops performance, please applaud only at the close of a full piece of music. The program page, which lists individual movements of longer compositions, and the program notes can help you to follow the orchestra’s progress through each piece and determine the appropriate moments to applaud.
The Box Office opens two hours before each performance. Plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled performance to allow ample time to use the facilities, locate your seats, and settle in. The theater will be opened for seating by the House Manager approximately 30-45 minutes prior to curtain. All performances begin promptly as scheduled.
In the event of a building emergency, an announcement from the stage will notify and instruct patrons. Should the building need to be evacuated, please exit via the nearest door, or according to instructions.

WHAT TO WEAR
Now is the time to let go of any preconceptions you may have about a dress code at the Symphony. Simply stated, we ask that you wear whatever makes you comfortable and most importantly, allows you to open yourself up to the music. Many people enjoy dressing up and making a special night of it, and you can, too. However, if it's your favorite pair of khakis and a comfortable sweater that allows you to feel the rhythms and follow the tunes, wear them! Remember, this is YOUR experience and we want it to be an AWESOME one.
When purchasing your tickets online, you have the option of receiving them in the mail or picking them up at our Box Office. Patrons who have tickets being held at Will Call may pick up their tickets during hours of operation by presenting a valid photo ID and the order number at our Box Office.
