Be Aware of Third-Party Sellers

The Allentown Symphony Association (ASA), the owner/operator of Miller Symphony Hall (MSH), is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The official website for our venue is http://www.MillerSymphonyHall.org, and any purchases you make should be on a page that has MillerSymphonyHall.org in the web address.

We are aware that there are third-party broker websites that re-sell tickets to our shows at a substantial markup. MSH is not affiliated with these re-sellers.

Ticket Scalping is not a crime in Pennsylvania provided the reseller is registered with the County Treasurer and does not collect $5 or 25% more than the face value of the ticket.  Reselling a ticket without a license IS a crime as is charging significantly above the face value of the ticket.

If you feel you have been sold tickets fraudulently, you might be able to find redress by disputing the credit card charge and by contacting the Pennsylvania Attorney General.

To ensure that you are buying valid tickets at the correct price, we strongly recommend that you purchase directly through us in one of the ways listed on our website.

As part of our effort to combat this issue, the Box Office uses its discretion when mailing orders for high-profile events/artists and reserves the right to hold these orders at will call and to restrict ticket transfer privileges. Photo ID is required to collect will-call tickets. Patrons found to have re-sold their tickets for higher than face value may have their orders canceled and tickets voided without a refund and may be prevented from purchasing tickets through our venue in the future.
