Eri Kang

Pianist, Eri Kang's tone, beauty and compelling musicality has been hailed by audiences throughout the world. A Japanese-born Korean American pianist, soloist, collaborative pianist and chamber musician, she has appeared frequently at the major concert halls in New Yourk City such as Stern Auditorium/Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center among others. She has also performed in Europe, in the Far East such as Korea and Japan, throughout the United States and South America. Recently Ms. Kang performed with Gil Shaham on numerous occasions such as at Carnegie Hall Stern Auditorium, and on live streaming concert platforms during the pandemic and recitals in the U.S. She has received rave reviews from major newspapers and music magazines such as the Los Angeles Times, Strad Magazine, and String Magazine, etc. She has also been heard on NPR, WQXR, WNCN, and at numerous music festivals.

She received her bachelor's degree from Toho School of Music, and her Mater's degree from the Julliard School. Ms. Kang has studied piano with Martin Canin, Satoko Tokumaro, and chamber music with Felix Galimir. As a superb chamber musicians, she has extraordinary knowledge of piano and string literature which she gained from experiences working with world reknown faculties and their students at the Julliard School for many years as well as many other world leading professors and performers. Ms. Kang has served as an official pianist frequently for violin, cello, and other string instrumental competiions in the United States, Sion Valais International Compeition in Switzerland, and Buenos Aires International Violin Competition, Johansen International String Competiion, among others. In addition, Ms. Kang has been on the faculty of the City University of New York Brooklyn College.

Evan Solomon

Pianist Evan Solomon has appeared in camber music and vocal recitals in France, Germany, China, Japan, Korea, and throughout the United States. His exceptionally wide repertoire has led to frequent engagements as an official pianist at events such as the Hannver International Violin Competition, the International Viola Congress, the West Point Clarinet Summit, and the Starling-DeLay Violin Symposium.

Mr. Solomon's performances as faculty artist of the Great Mountains Music Festival in Korea have been heard on the Korean Broadcasting System and NPR's "Performance Today." Additional television credits include appearances on A&E Network's "Breakfast with the Arts" with ciolinist Sarah Change and cellist Han-Na Change, and "Live from Lincoln Center: Perlman at the Penthouse" on PBS. His recordings with tenor Michael Sells and clarinetist Seunghee Lee have received with critical acclaim. A recent highlight was his premiere of the Concerto for Piano and Orchestra by composer Gerald Busby with the Orchestra at Shelter Rock.

Evan Solomon began his piano studies with Olfa Radosavljevich at the Cleveland Institute of Music. A graduate of Grinnell College with a major in mathematics, he received a Master of Music degree from the University of Souther California as a student of Brooks Smith. Mr. Solomon was on the collaborative piano staff of the Julliard School for over thirty years and currently occupies the same position at the Cleveland Institute of Music.
