The show “Ch Ch Ch Changes – A Symphonic Tribute to the Music of David Bowie” will feature the Allentown Symphony with guest artists Kat Robichaud and Michael Carney providing vocals, Dan Kalisher on guitar, Mark McKee on keys, Kurtis Keber on bass and Kiel Feher on drums, playing a career-spanning retrospective of the late musician’s work.
Bringing a symphony in adds layers to familiar songs. While Bowie’s work is poppy and catchy, it is also complicated and symphonic.
Chameleon-like with his reinvention, from Ziggy Stardust to the Thin White Duke and ultimately, the role of fashionable, iconic elder statesman of rock, the incomparable David Bowie blazed a singular path. Experience the ultimate symphonic rock tribute to Bowie’s five decades of monster classics, including hits Rebel Rebel, Let’s Dance, China Girl, Suffragette City and Space Oddity, his extraterrestrial ode to Major Tom.
This concert appeals to both classical and pops fans, so everyone come out and enjoy this exciting evening!
