A perennial favorite, Simon Mulligan joins us to celebrate that most romantic of holidays. Simon has been called “the most abundantly gifted” of pianists, as well as a “phenomenal” performer. Steinway & Sons calls him “the world’s most versatile pianist” but his love of improv keeps bringing him back to Jazz Upstairs again and again. Simon will share the stage with Gene Perla (bass) and Adam Nussbaum (drums), both familiar names at Miller Symphony Hall and talented musicians and music educators.
