Annual Symphony Ball

One Enchanted Evening in Vienna, Allentown Symphony Association's 67th Annual black-tie gala promises to deliver elegance by celebrating Old World Vienna, held at Lehigh Country Club.  In partnership with Honorary Chairs, J.B. & Kathleen Reilly, guests will be treated to artfully crafted cocktails and hors d’oeuvres beginning at 6 pm. As the night continues, guests will enjoy Viennese inspired cuisine which includes, Beef Tenderloin served with “Black Forest” burgundy wine reduction and forest mushrooms, Chicken Roulade stuffed with Viennese Sausage and spinach with a Riesling reduction white sauce and Salzburg Vegetable Strudel served with red bell pepper sauce. Topping off the meal, guests will be treated to legendary chocolate torte created by Sacher in 1832, bursting with traditional sweetness.

After dinner, be whisked onto the dancefloor and dance the night away with the upbeat tunes of artist Back2Life. With a high-energy sophistication that only these talents could provide, they will spin sounds from the 1980’s to classic rock to jazz and modern pop, plus everywhere in between.

Momentous highlights of the night will be the Live Auction
where guests will try their hand in signaling an item of interest.

Sponsoring the Symphony Ball is an exceptional way to demonstrate that you and your company support the arts in the Greater Lehigh Valley.  The Allentown Symphony Orchestra is the cornerstone of our 2016-2017 Season which includes diverse programming, nationally and internationally recognized artists, captivating children and family productions, and our popular Metropolitan Opera simulcasts.

Ball proceeds support programming, and music outreach and educational opportunities to students, whether they take place in schools, community gatherings or at Symphony Hall.  Our newest education initiative, El Sistema Lehigh Valley (ESLV), is an after-school and summer music-based education program at Roosevelt Elementary School in the Allentown School District involving low income/low opportunity students.  Incorporating music, mentoring, and tutoring activities, ESLV offers students access to the world outside of their neighborhoods.

Allentown Symphony Association’s community collaborations, entertaining and educational programming fulfill our mission:  To provide a first-class symphony orchestra and performance hall, quality performing arts, and cultural education in partnership with the community and surrounding region.  Your sponsorship is critical to sustaining these valuable programs.
