Young Musician String Festival

PERFORMING: Beethoven's Symphony No. 8 & Triple Concerto and Doug Ovens's "Music with Sculptures" (premiere!)

The 9th annual Young Musician String Festival will take place at Miller Symphony Hall on Sunday, November 5 at 1:45pm. Students in 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades with a signed recommendation from their Music Teacher are eligible to participate.  Eligible participants must have the capabilities of performing the festival music, which you can find below.  This is a fun and educational opportunity for young string players in the area to enhance their skills as both individual and ensemble musicians, and to meet other young musicians from around the Lehigh Valley!
