 Elgar's Enigma Variations

The 8th annual Young Musician String Festival will take place at Miller Symphony Hall on Sunday, November 6 at 1:45pm. Students in 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades with a signed recommendation from their Music Teacher are eligible to participate.  Eligible participants must have the capabilities of performing the festival music, which you can find below.  This is a fun and educational opportunity for young string players in the area to enhance their skills as both individual and ensemble musicians, and to meet other young musicians from around the Lehigh Valley!

Festival Schedule

Wednesday, November 2: 
6:00 - 8:30pm: Rehearsal for all participants

Saturday, November 5:  
9:30am - 12:00pm: Rehearsal for all participants

Sunday, November 6:   
11:00am - 11:30pm: Photos
11:30 - 1:30pm: Dress Rehearsal
1:45pm - Festival Concert

REGISTRATION (NOW AVAILABLE)

Registration for the festival is for students who meet the required eligibility and are recommended by their school music teacher or private music teacher. Teachers can recommend students by filling out a recommendation form online TEACHER RECOMMENDATION FORM.
 

Students who have received a recommendation from their teacher can register using the STUDENT REGISTRATION FORM
